Effect of the Laser Cladding Parameters on the Crack Formation and Microstructure during Nickel Superalloy Gas Turbine Engines Repair

Cracking of nickel superalloys with a high content γ’-phase remains an unresolved problem, including in technologies for repairing gas turbine engines blades. Laser cladding is method material deposition used to repair parts exposed aggressive environment and surface wear. Cladding parameters have influence on cracking susceptibility superalloys. Alloy ZhS32 has propensity hot when laser radiation. In this work, the study structural phase features alloy was carried out. A tendency form segregation refractory elements carbides intergranular areas found. The structure composition different were studied. main contribution technological formation cracks shown.
